review 1: I loved this premise the second I heard it: Hulk plunges through time to try and resolve the breaking of time caused by Age of Ultron. No one else was dealing with the problem, and it was set up as a major one!Unfortunately, that's all just a facade. This is some largely unrelated problem, and I think that Age of Ultron got mentioned just because it was going on at the time. Worse, the majority of the story is a dull-standard travel through time plot that hits the major points. I mean why does *everyone* have to go to the Wild West and meet a few of Marvel's western heroes? The trip to Camelot was more original for Marvel, but I've seen it a billion times at DC, where it's a standard stopping spot thanks to the presence of Merlin and the Demon.Meanwhile, we've abandoned ev... moreerything that made the first volume of this Hulk good: Bruce as scientist and his supporting cast of science-ettes.The story does pick up in the final issues, when we get some interesting ideas beyond punching dinosaurs, but it's too late.
review 2: Reprints Indestructible Hulk #11-15 (July 2013-January 2014). Time has been shattered, and it is up to Hulk AND Bruce Banner to save it. With his consciousness duplicated to a robot, Hulk and Banner are on a trip back in time to prevent a great cataclysm as seen by Zarrko the Tomorrow Man. Teaming with allies like Two-Gun Kid, Kid Colt, Rawhide Kid, and the Black Knight, Hulk will visit the Old West, Camelot, and even the first steps on the moon. Unfortunately, the Chronarchists have a plan and dipping into the Hulk’s past could change Bruce forever!Written by Mark Waid, Indestructible Hulk 3: S.M.A.S.H. Time is a follow-up to Indestructible Hulk 2: Gods and Monster. The books collects the five part “Agent of T.I.M.E.” storyline and ties in the Age of Ultron storyline. This storyline was a bit better than the previous Indestructible Hulk book. With a solid five issue story, the book had a little bit more room to breathe. Waid once again skips out on his original premise however of Banner working on a scientific S.H.I.E.L.D. team and the team member aren’t even mentioned for the five issues (I don’t know how I’m supposed to care about them).Despite being better in general, the story is kind of garbled. I am not a big fan of generic time travel stories especially when they start creating their own rules. This story is a big violator of that rule and I wish that the book has stuck more to the first two issues’ format with Hulk skipping through time and teaming up with random time displaced Marvel Superheroes like the Western characters and the Black Knight (I was hoping to see a Hulk 2099 trip to really have a memory lane moment). The story loses its direction once the plot kicks in with Zarrko and the Chornarchists (who all look alike and have no personalities). I don’t even really understand what happened in the fight and the collapse of the realities on themselves. It might make sense if you sit and dissect it, but just wanted a fun and smart time story.Indestructible Hulk is a bit of a mystery to me. Despite serious problems, I do kind of enjoy reading it. I don’t think the comic flows well but it is bolstered by rather strong art. Indestructible Hulk 3: S.M.A.S.H. Time is followed by the final volume in the series Indestructible Hulk 4: Humanity Bomb which also has issues included in the Inhumanity trade collection. less

Mark Waid plays with action figures, but hey, it's kind of a fun time watching him do it, kind of.

zaman paradokslarını okuması hep keyifli. zekice ince tespitler var, ama eksik kalıyorlar.

Hulk punching dinosaurs is really all I needed to read in life.
