review 1: So we are back!! This is the sequel to Timing. The timeline takes place a couple years later. Stefan and Rand now co-own the ranch and are living happily together. All there workers like on the ranch with them with their own families and are one big happy family. Well, there are a few people who are still against their relationship, but you can't please everyone. So in this story, we meet Rand's father's family, the Holloways. With the exception of the uncle from the previous book, all the members we have have meet are/were his mother's side of the family. Stefan has quit his job and now works closer to home so he doesn't have to commute far. He still doesn't feel like he is pulling his share though and is feeling a little bit inadequate. Though, Rand doesn't see it... more that way. Rand sees them running the ranch as a 'team'. Well Rand is more hands on, Stefan is better with the books and such and coming up with good ideas. Together, the ranch is very successful. Then we meet his cousins. Some of them aren't very pleasant and are rude with Rand. A few of them downright disapprove of Stefan's relationship with him. Then Stefan finds out that his uncle and cousin(?) seem to be trying to pull a fast one on Rand in order to get some land that was 'taken' from the 'rightful owners'.In this case, it is to participate in a rodeo. When Stefan finds out, instead of telling Rand, he decides to go in his place. He asks some of the workers to go with him and they set off to save the day. But during the few days the rodeo is taking place, Stefan is uncovering secrets of Rand's family that have been hidden for years. I must say I really liked the Auction... it was great. We also find out that not everyone is as hateful as you first think. I really enjoyed reading this followup story to Timing. My only question is the cousin who wants to open the restaurant, who name eludes me at this time...but was he interested in Stefan or what? Because that was just confusing... a little bit to me.
review 2: Half the book the main characters aren't together so that was kinda a downer for me but I still really like these guys. I was just hoping for more interaction between them and maybe a proposal but that never came so oh well. Also if this is suppose to be the last book there should have been an epilogue especially since it's slightly unfinished as a series. I'd be up for reading another one! less

Good, cute, and quick. Not a must read - but it was fun to revisit the characters again :)
