review 1: A fun read, good plot & storyline although I questioned Rand's sudden attraction to Stefan after so many years. There was no build up to it; after so many years Rand is suddenly all over Stefan. We are therefore led to believe that he was always attracted but had managed to find himself a woman, got married then divorced because his wife couldn't take his intensity in the sack. Then Stefan shows up for Rand's sister's wedding and all of a sudden Rand is now apparently gay. The transition was too quick and although their sexual romps were quite heated, I was left feeling that a part of the story was missing. Not convinced so not as enjoyable as it could have been.
review 2: FABULOUS! I will have you all know as of this moment STEF is my favorite M/M character o
... moref all time. Scratch that he's my favorite literary character. I was so absolutely blown away by him. Mary Calmes shouldn't shock me anymore with her brilliance yet here I am, a mess of OMG and HE IS THE GREATEST! I read this book and was engrossed. I knew right off the back with Stef's attitude with his boss in the opening chapter that I was going to love him. I had no idea how much I would. And Rand? Can I just? WOW! When they get together it's like fire and gasoline and when they succumb to the inevitable... *sigh* it's a smoky bliss! Just magnificent! less

There is a lot going on in this book, but the two main characters are very sweet.
