review 1: I had missed Judith and Renie but as usual Daheim has way way way too many characters. By the time the mystery is solved you are so tired of trying to keep all the characters straight you almost don't care who committed the murder. There were probably 15 characters introduced and anyone of them could have been the murderer. Still Judith is such a likeable character that you make your way through somehow.
review 2: This installment of the Bed-and-Breakfast series disappointed me. I enjoyed the setting, Little Bavaria, and the Oktoberfest scenes.
