review 1: I was thinking this had a lot of holes in the plot, but then i learned it wasn't holes- it was twists. the big reveal at the end made everything else make sense, from the counting to the missing change. still, very much a novel with characters who are characters. I guess i like a story that's a little more real- but then i don't want to deal with this dark material in a realistic way, so maybe it's better to keep it novelistic.
review 2: It was super unrealistic. None of that stuff would happen all on the same day. It's was a cool, very VERY lucky coincidence. And all Destiny's other coincidences were too. ... moreke that. I wasn't expecting Destiny's familys' death or the meteorite. I tHink she's a little weird for making up Aunt Edie and her parents abandoning her. I thought it was going to be more roadtripy and longer. I was disappointed it wasn't. It as very intense and over analytic. It would be a great book for English class. less
