review 1: The story of a little boy's life with his best friend and how it was written was stunning. I haven't ever read a book like Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend. Max, a young boy with symptoms of Asperger's and an astonishing imagination, imagined a friend named Budo. The way Budo describes their days full of adventures is very expressive. While I read, I felt like I was there during each moment, witnessing them first hand. Other than the greatness of this novel, I wish Dicks included a slight bit of more information on what happened after the problem was solved. Yet, I would still definitely recommend this book to many readers. Courage, creativity, friendship and love was well portrayed in Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend.
review 2: Admito que este libro no es... moretaba en mi lista de los que iba a leer próximamente; pero por azares del destino, estuve en la librería, lo compré y lo empecé a leer. Ya había visto buenos comentarios sobre él, así que tenía curiosidad.Tenía una ida vaga de lo que trataba, y en un principio no me enganchaba del todo...pero a como iba leyendo, me fui enamorando de unos personajes y odiando a otros. Fue una lectura fresca y agradable, bien escrita y única. Me hizo enojar, reír, llorar, sonreír, y sobre todo creer... Budo, yo siempre me acordaré de ti. Una lectura 100% recomendable!! less
