review 1: Private detective Agatha Raisin is hard at work solving a murder but her raging hormones interfere and she falls in love with every vaguely eligible man she encounters. Agatha is prickly and self involved and not particularly likeable at first but she does grow on you. This book is a humorous and light British cozy mystery. I haven't read other books in this series but will do so when one comes along.
review 2: This is the 25th Agatha Raisin book. I have read them all. I read this in one sitting, it was like spending the afternoon with an old friend. Agatha is a private detective who lives in a cottage in the Cotswold. She is a middle aged attractive woman who always is dreaming about romance and falling in love with the next attractive male she meets.
