The Santinis
review 1: This second installment of the Santinis quadrilgoy is short and sweet.Marco and Alana were always friendly towards each other and polite in their greetings, she being the not-old landlady and he the tenant. When Gee started flirting with her, Marco started to get territorial and he was an asshole to her unintentionally.Alana has a history. In their island everyone knows everyone and it's refreshing to speak to Marco, who really listens, and it's obvious he's not after her money. It's the fear of using her past against her that she kept to herself, which pissed Marco off.Though I know how it would end (HEA), I'm still amused by the groveling and admitting one has screwed up and tries to make it better. Sex was hot by the way.
review 2: Marco is the SEAL of the S
... moreantini family. He's also the quiet one. He lives in Hawaii and he has a thing for his landlady. He watches her but doesn't make a move. Alana is Hawaiian and wealthy due to a settlement she received years ago. She rented a house to Marco because it made her feel like she was giving something back to the military in her own way.Watching these two dance around each other was fun. Then all the brothers showed up and it got interesting. Marco's single brothers flirted with Alana which sent Marco's temper rising. That led to some comical moments. This was another sweet story in a sweet series. less
