review 1: The book NERDS M is for mama's boy by Micheal Buckley, adds another adventure for this awesome series. Ordinary kids from Nathan Hale elementary are well...nerds,outsiders but really they're secret superspies for the government! Awesome right! I wish I could have that job, also they get paid!! These kids have um.. "superpowers" that relate to the reason they're bullied. Duncan (glue stick) learns he may be different and have superpowers but,he is still trained like any other person martial art or karate to defend himself, and to be good at something. So if he loses his powers it's not the end of the world because he has other skills. For example,I play soccer and I work/practice to be good at something like Duncan was trained to be a spy so he should use his skills like I u... morese my skills at a soccer game. This book will lead you into an amazing adventure of friendship and gaining confidence. I love this series, I like how each book tells you about a NERD. The strengths of the book was that showing you about the attitudes of the characters. I can't think of a weakness. Being friends with the NERDS would be so cool ,also they're a lot like my friends I have now. I reccomend this book series to third grade and up because some of the vocabulary might be challenging. If you like mystery and adventure, start reading!
review 2: This is a good book for people who are bullying. These kids get bullied but when duty calls, they are actually secret agents for an organization called NERDS. 5 people make it up. These books usually focus on one character of the 5 NERDS, and in this one, it focuses on Ducan Dewey. When this boy was younger, he got dared to eat paste. He actually did it and he said it tasted good. They got money for the dare and did it again and again. His parents moved to a different place and a different school. There, at the school, he was asked to join NERDS, the organization. The code name is Gluestick. What makes these people special is their powers. They have nanobytes that are in a suit that they wear. The suit gives each spy a special power. Gluestick's power is being able to shoot and stick like glue. In this book, the 5 agents have to face the wrath of Heathcliff, no Simon. Simon was an agent of the NERDS once but rebelled because they couldn't use their powers in the public. This made HeathCliff, no I mean Simon rebel. So Simon recently started to "power" up because he was stealing tons of money and gave a job to a fat guy named Albert. Albert made a machine that could make any kind of electronic with a processor make. This time when a siege on a bank happened, the NERDS came to the rescue, only to end up losing their powers. Now, they were powerless, but they had still learned a lot of different skills as a spy. They use that and Ducan had to "man-up" because he thought he was useless without his powers. He learned to man-up and he got over it. That is the end of the book, though I left out some details, that is the gist of the book. less

These books are a little too juvenile for me. I can see a younger audience really enjoying these.

It was weird why Duncan lost his power and came back to fight with the NERDS.
