review 1: I did not think this book was that good due to the reviews and cover. I try not to judge the book by it's cover, but it's just pretty much impossible for me. So, this book was awesome. At first, I thought this book would be more like Harry Potter, but as soon as I read the back of the book, I knew that this book would be different in many levels. This book's idea was quite original for me. I have never read a book with a plot like this. This book made me want more. The story isn't what I predicted it to be. There were a lot of twists and turns. In the end, I didn't predict any more. I just continued reading without thinking of the outcome. Overall this book is great, unique and original.
review 2: This was a great series. I don't have kids or teach them, etc. b... moreut my guess is this is appropriate about age 10/11 upwards. There were things that bugged me, but they all paid off in the end. Some of the books in the series were better than others, but I rated each book as I would the series. If you start, finish the series for the pay off. Read every book, in order, or you won't get the best result. less
