review 1: This is a very interesting book written by Mike Lupica despite his other books which have been unsuccessful. I feel that this is a common subject about a struggle that takes place between a boy and his friend when they decide to run against each other in a class election. This immediately results in a non-playful rivalry between the 2 friends affecting their performance in basketball and integrity. Although the book is very good I feel that the author should have provided a little more information about the aftermath. Besides that it was a very well written book.
review 2: I would recommend this book because it is a book that teaches you to always try hard and never give up on anything you set your mind to do. The main character of the book Pedro is running fo... morer school president against Ned. Ned is one of the most popular kids in his school and everyone knows him. Pedro is not very recognized by other kids in his school. Through out the school year Pedro worked very hard and never gave up to accomplish this goal. He was very determined and confident that he would win the school president at the end of the book. Pedro also plays basketball and tries leading his team as far as they can go with his friends and has many bumps in the road during the season. This book is very exciting and is a great book for sports fans. less
