Enola Holmes Mysteries
review 1: Book 5 was a free download from the YA Audiobook Sync program this summer. It's why I borrowed the first 4 audiobooks from my local library. The loving landlady of Enola is kidnapped one day, and Enola is trying to figure out why. Once again, I felt that the prologue provided some good opportunities for predictions, but it was a bit predictable for an adult reader. Still didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story. I liked the inclusion of a real-life famous person, and it made me want to learn more about Florence Nightingale. The only "negative" I can think of about this story was the fact that it meant that there was only 1 book left in the series!
review 2: I've noticed a resurgence in Sherlock Holmes stories recently. Here's one about his sister who is
... morea good detective in her own right, especially considering that she's only 14. While the crinoline is explained in the story, I recommend looking up what it is in order to be prepared as it does play a central role. I'm also curious about Florence Nighingale after seeing how she was portrayed in this book. less

I really liked this one. I love how she outsmarts Sherlock while he has to watch -- much fun.

I love Enola Holmes. And I still want Katherine Kellgren to narrate my life.
