review 1: Why the hell did I cry in the end? Ha! I had written an unsavory review on this series's second installment and many of the issues I voiced before diminished, meaning the author improved as the series was written and I got use to the heighten reality of it all. I really enjoy this conclusion, the case itself ended with a curious commentary on gender dynamics concerning women at the time with the metaphor of the corset. Thus cleverly wrapping up Enola representation of properly defy those said expectations, very well done. I loved the cameo of the dog from Doyle's the Sign of Four "Toby"! An enjoyable little series overall I really enjoyed my time with it. 3.5 stars!
review 2: This has been a fantastic series. I thoroughly enjoyed Enola's spunk and nerve and I
... moretook delight in her defiant (and ever so clever ways) of both solving the mystery at hand and eluding her brothers. Speaking of brothers, Sherlock was also a treat to read. His dry wit and exasperation at his sister gave me a good laugh. In the end, and I hated to see the series end, but it all came together in a nice conclusion that left me satisfied and happy. This is a series I will probably re-read. less

Would of liked more relevant mystery to the story. But enjoyed the humor of it.
