review 1: This is a sequel to Interworld, by the same authors. I went straight from the first one to this and enjoyed it very much, I will also read more if it keeps coming.I would strongly, very strongly recommend NOT reading this unless you have read the first one. I tried to start with this while I was waiting for the first and it does not work at all. This is also not suited as a stand alone book.I think Neil Gaiman's voice is not as strong in this one as it was in the first book. This one has a bit more adventure and a bit less science than the first one.I also think this one tries too hard to be for a slightly older audience that Interworld was. The 'girlfriend' theme seemed laborious to me and I still feel very strongly that this is a children's book rather than young a... moredult.
review 2: Cožeéééé??!! Co to bylo za konec!! Pane bože, tady se autoři pokoušejí o můj infarkt! Já chci okamžitě další díl, páč tohle bylo tak rychlý, tak useklý, že to nemůže jen tak skončit :DKaždopádně - bylo cítit, že na tom již nespolupracoval Neil Gaiman, ale i tak byl Stříbrný sen čtivý, svěží a svým způsobem opět akční (ale to spíše až ve druhé polovině). A jsem zvědavý, zda se dočkáme třetího dílu, protože konec tomu jenom nasvědčuje! :)P.S.: Jsem rád, že jsem si to načetl jako audioknihu :) less
