review 1: What a great read! I highly recommend this if you enjoy psychological thrillers. Sonia's thoughts consistently amazed and appalled me. How can anyone think that way and worse yet, how can anyone act upon those dark, twisted thoughts?! Penny Hancock did a wonderful job with this first book! I will not be surprised to see many more literary successes for this lady! And I look forward to reading them! Do yourself a favor and read this book. I'm sure you will find it difficult to put away and get on with your real life, just as I did!

... mores would be a great BBC America production...I could easily see Emma Thompson in the lead role. She would have the acting stones to pull it off. Given what the story was about, I really didn't feel the tension..maybe I am just getting jaded... less
