review 1: I loved the second book too!! I love reading about strong Godly men, with good morals. The love stories in this series are so so sweet. I can't get enough. I love how the book started out at the about the same point the first book started, but from a different characters point of view. About 3/4 of the way through, the stories intersected, and picked up where the first book left off. Such a cool way to write a series. Each book recapping the same time period, but each book also stretching further in time from where the last book left off. I am anxiously awaiting the third book. I can't wait to see how this all comes together.I am so glad I stumbled upon this series! *edit*OK so I forgot to add that one part in the book was particularly funny to me. The car chase, th... moreat involved his mother and father. He was standing there watching his parents (who I pictured to be in about their 50's or 60's) barreling down the road in separate cars trying to out maneuver the bad guys, his mother driving a van no less. The way it was written just cracked me up, his mom swerving towards the building and then driving right past. I don't know if it was intended to be humorous, but the way I pictured it had me laughing. I loved it!Another part that I loved was when Kirk was horrified at the thought of writing on the Princess. Defacing her Royal skin didn't set well with him. I thought it was cute, and it showed how respectful he was of the Princess. That part was such a small scene, but it really stuck with me and and stood out.
review 2: Christian romance novel. I don't need to elaborate any more than that, but I will. I LOVE smut. I'm totally down with sexy times. This chaste bullshit that just doesn't exist in real life is rampant in this god awful book. Not to mention the story isn't believable, the characters are inconsistent (and super annoying), and the writing is about as basic as it gets. I honestly can't figure out how this got onto my to-read list, as this book sums up everything I hate to read. less
