Book Review-Blood-Born

Blood Born (Dr. Anya Crichton, #4)

by

Kathryn Fox  It is difficult to describe Blood Born, without giving way too much of the plot, other than to say it is another gripping whodunit from Kathryn Fox. In the Harbourn family, sexual assaults, murders and intimidation all appear to be normal.  Doctor Anya Crichton is once again called upon to find the perpetrators of these crimes and the Harbourns are her main suspects!  But which member of the family is it?  And how have family members managed to avoid past convictions? These questions are central to Blood Born and it is Anya’s task to solve these crimes either forensically or through just plain old hard work.  However, to do so she must get into the minds of this deranged family and little by little unravel the clues to their crimes and how they managed to avoid previous prosecutions. Nearly all authors of this genre (crime), who write many books, seem to have a formula for each story.  If you can cope with a certain amount of predictability then Blood Born will be an enjoyable read. A solid

star read.   Goodreads readers have rated Blood Born an average of 3.84 from 511 ratings and 58 reviews
