The rains haven’t started yet,although showers are predicted tonight along California’s central coast. This shot, taken yesterday near Point Lobos, shows how evergreens have been stressed by lack of rain and the invasion of various insects. The fields are wavy with brown grasses. Fittingly, a vulture is gliding high in the sky. Life goes on.
