Season 2 destroyed Kara’s character, shifted the protagonism to a useless dude, the story telling dropped in quality, feminism was non existent, power to the girls shit on, demographic shifted from women of all identities and backgrounds in s1 to comic fanboys in s2.
That shift alienates most season 1 fans, and ponders to the alpha male archetype of cis-het white dude.
The changes in demographic are most prominent at the promo pictures. While Season 1 was focusing on Kara’s face the most and her overall posture as a powerful hero, the season 2 promos focus on her bust, and legs, to ponder to the male gaze.
