Tabletaft boardgame cafe

Back October 28, 2017, I was invited by tabletaft to DM a dungeons and dragons game for their halloween double feature event and I thought it’s about time to note this play especially since I’ve been here for quite a few times

Here’s a quick look at what happened

Participants, as well as DMs, were encouraged to go in costume. Lo and behold! Those who came in stunning costumes were rewarded of course!

Anyway…

I’ve been to tabletaft a good deal of times. It’s not even close to where I live and the commute is a hassle! But we come back anyway! Why?

The food is AMAZING

That’s right! Number one reason, we love the food here! The price range is a little bit of in between. But no matter how you find it, it’s all worth it!

Their rice meals will definitely fill you up. And if you’re not really in rice they offer pasta as well! It’s worth mentioning that the oversized cheesestick and oreo coffee jelly is a must-try and my personal favorites

Boardgaaaaaames

This is a boardgame cafe afterall. You get access to their collection of boardgames and card games readily available. How? Well, you have to pay their 100 peso entrance fee first BUT don’t let this turn you away. This entrance fee can become consumable so long as you spend a minimum of 150 on their food. And like previously discussed the food is great. So you got the delicious food and the fun boardgames to play with your friends. Win-win aye?

My mimic dice box, Chestshire, in tabletaft!

A little tip to those who play D&D out there, you can play D&D in tabletaft! And for a little added bonus, join the taft AL group and schedule your game there, you can get a reserved table for your party AND a 15% discount of up to 8 people (including the DM of course). Join here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/191883298010494/

For those who don’t play D&D and are interested, go ahead and join! Adventurers League PH is very accommodating! We’ll teach you. See you there!

Last but not the least…

Location! Yup, located at University Mall right next to DLSU and lrt line 1 vito cruz station. It’s quite literally right there! I did mention earlier how hassle the commute is, but having it close to an lrt station helps a lot! The cafe itself is located at the second floor around the back. You won’t miss it!

Go ahead and like tabletaft’s FB page for more updates on their events (their events are a huge plus too!) : https://www.facebook.com/tabletaft/
