Welcome, reader/s! For a while now, I’ve been writing a bi-weekly post about books that are on
my TBR. TBR, if you don’t know is the abbreviation for To Be Read. My goal here is to shed some light on books that I’ve otherwise forgotten about. These books could be books I’ve been meaning to read from the library, or books that have been collecting dust on my shelves at home. My goal though is to say a little about the book and also give a little reasoning of why I want to read them. In hopes of reading them sooner than later.
Hello, everyone! Today’s post is obviously a TBR Tuesday! As usual, there are two books that I will be talking about in this edition of TBR Tuesday.
Drowned by Cyn Balog, Nichola Reilly — Teens & YA, Fantasy, Dystopia
Drowned definitely has the potential to be a great book. There is some intrigue surrounding the book. Frankly, I haven’t actually heard much about Drowned anywhere, really. The synopsis to Drowned is all over the place. Which means that I have no idea what to expect from the story. At all. That’s fine though! Reading Drowned will just mean that I will have one heck of an adventure while reading it.
The second book that I’ll be talking about in this post is from an author I’ve already read from before and didn’t totally enjoy it. However, I’m willing to put that aside and hope for the best that the first book I read from said author was just that alone.
Lost to You by A.L. Jackson — New Adult, Romance, Novella.
I’m particularly looking forward to reading Lost to You since the story is a New Adult book. I’m also excited because it’s a novella, which means that if I don’t end up liking this book, it would be over soon! Haha.
The synopsis for Lost to You makes me think that this novella is a high-stake romance novel. Which I guess could be interesting. I hope that these two get their happy ending though. The synopsis also says that you could read Lost to You as a standalone, which is nice. — I don’t have high hopes that I’ll end up liking this novel.
