review 1: This was an exile rating book but had some hole this series is really good and can't wait for the next one that's what feel and the only thing wrong with it was the cliches and the fact that they do not know how to control there powers at all so here's some of the things I didn't likeOk Michael uncontrollable he's been hiding his powers since sixth grade I was told and then when he shocks jack he shocks that guy in detention and that guy that's talking to Taylor and stupid Taylor she is uncontrollable she just reads people's minds like willie nillie right in front of them like when she did it to the teacher m.r Paltrow and that guy in the basketball game and the guy at the party and the worst part is this whole thing is happening under the worst love cliche ever written th... moree most unpopular kid in school gets I repeat GETS the most popular girl in school. But as I said it was a great read otherwise.
review 2: High adventure! Mr. Evans has done it again. He has a perfect blend of characters on the good and the bad side. He is able to take one main character and join him with an army, step by step, in order to fight the forces of Mr. Hatch and the other Glows. I loved how he was teamed up with Jack and Wade, who earlier had been their enemies. Taylor turned out to be a perfect ally and eventually girlfriend. Ostin was ingeniously made into a master mind of innovation. The addition of Abi, McKenna, and Ian and eventually Zeus to the group made a force strong enough to counter the evil scumbag Hatch. Hatch makes Hitler look good. It shows that force is the keystone of evil and then greed for money and power. The last 40 pages of this book were riveting and scary. I didn't know what would happen. Who was going to die? I had to set it down several times as it was too tense but was magnetically drawn back to see how it finished. I liked the light-hearted ending. less
