review 1: *Thank you to Trisha for the rec!*I liked this, there were a few things that lowered the rating, but overall I enjoyed.I like that it didn't immediately go straight to these guys all over each other. There was a build up and we get a glimpse of them separately first. Most of this book takes place within two weeks, which is a pretty quick time frame to fall in love, but I liked that within that two weeks it wasn't all "I'm hard for you, let's fuck." There was attraction and all, but Nik took his job and the threat seriously and Morgan was struggling with what he had witnessed. It may not have been the most original idea, but I liked the characters. You are definitely rooting for them. I wish it was a bit longer, but *shrugs* what are you gonna do, right? I guess ultimately... more that is my main complaint--I just wanted more!Overall, I enjoyed, will read more from this author. 3.5ish-4 stars
review 2: Wow! That is the word that best describes this book, and the fact that it is book one in a series is awesome, I can't wait to read the other books! I love the way Rj holds you captive as she tells the story, you feel what Nic and Morgan feel, and you can't help but get sucked into their story! This is a beautiful way to convey the message that no matter what has happened in the past, there is always a future where there is true love! Thank you Rj, for giving us a book one that has us craving the rest of the series! less
