review 1: The fifth and last Texas book!I have enjoyed the series, following Jack and Riley and those that love them and live with them. I would recommend reading the series in order, as the relationship between the two main characters just builds with each book.In is one, Jack and Riley complete their family with the arrival at the D of Max - love how Jack and Riley connect with him in such different ways.Robbie and Eli cement their relationship and Liam's history is revealed as he gradually succumbs to Marcus' attentions.All lovingly wrapped up nicely at the end - lots of happy warm fuzzy feelings!
review 2: Another great entry in the tales of the Campbell-Hayes family, and yes, everyone who seems to come to the Double D works their way into the family network, blood o... morer not. In this installment we get to see Jack and Riley adjust to the addition of Max to their family. I loved the way Liam's story is brought to us intermingled with his new found relationship with Marcus. It's not overdone and yet you feel every emotion that he goes through, good and bad. With the support of those around him, Liam learns to accept what happened to him and that he's worth the respect, responsibilities, and the love that he's being shown. less
