review 1: I had not heard about this book when I bumped into it at second hand bookshelf. It sounded interesting, so I bought it. A really good choice! After I started it was hard to let the book out of my hands.I love the way it is written, how when the narrator changes also the style of writing changes.This book will make you laugh, cry, think and definitely will keep you surprised all the time. Even though the end was a little bit cliche, it was beautiful. I truly enjoyed the book.
review 2: The premise of the story is told at the very beginning -- a boy is given to know that life on earth will end, how it's going to happen and the very date and hour it will happen. I became disinterested well before we got there. I've become such a difficult-to-interest reader, I kno... morew this is my problem and probably nothing to do with the story and/or author at all.OMG! We're all going to die! No news in that. But the moral of the story is good: EVERYTHING before that matters. less
