review 1: I couldn't put this down! So much so that I found myself speed-reading most of the time as I was so eager to find out what happened next! The plot had practically every twist imaginable with lots of red herrings thrown in for good measure. I found myself thinking 'just one more chapter...' More often than not and was even favouring it over some of my usual TV programmes. Fast-paced once you're past the first couple of chapters though so you do need to pay attention as the plot thickens!
review 2: I really enjoyed this book and found it difficult to put down. There are many twists and turns and I was kept guessing until the end. When the character of Lorcan was introduced I did think that he was going to be the stereotypical strong and silent hero and although
... more I thought the relationship between him and Gen was predictable I was kept guessing about his true motives until near the end of the book. I wasn't sure about Gen's husband, Art,at one point doubting him and later, believing that he was truly genuine. The characters are all very complex and well developed and I felt sorry for Gen and thought that the devastation she experienced after her baby's stillbirth was sympathetically conveyed. This is a well written book which moves along at a fast pace with many surprises along the way.Highly recommended. less

A real page-turner. Couldn't put it down. Will definitely look out for more books by this author.

This is a rattling good thriller with suspense aplenty and a kicker of an end.
