review 1: It is interesting that all the reviews seem to be from females. Well I am a grandpa and my girls and granddaughter read these so I did too. I really like her style even if it gets a little too romantic: "he looked deep into her eyes" type stuff.. Good story line though. Wouldn't it be nice if this kind of stuff really could happen? Must be why I read sci if and fantasy as well as the adventure stuff.
review 2: The aspects of the book that were good were so good it made up for the rubbish parts. Anna's story was enough to tell on it's own without the contemporary connection. Nicolas and Rob's story would have held weight as well but how they connected the 2 worlds just came across as silly. The end wrapped up worse than a Disney cartoon but hey like I said the ... moreimportant parts still made the read worth it. less
