review 1: Over all I liked the story so I kept reading. The beginning was a bit confusing between character groups, a bit of a physical description of the males might help clear that confusion between Jiminy Cricket & Sloane. A bit of trimming or reorganization at the end to tie it up neatly also needed instead of the jumping back and forth. With a bit of help this could be a big hitter. Thanks GoodReads and Pegasus books for the opportunity to review a free book by a new author, Tania Carver will be worth keeping a eye on, she has the spark to be great.
review 2: Although I've read Cage of Bones by Tania Carver before, I didn't actually remember much about it. I did enjoy this book very much, however it did take a couple of reading sessions to get me completely hooked o... morento it. The action does start pretty much from page one but as I couldn't remember the characters from the previous book it did take me a while to warm to them. The only other issue I had with the book was that if you let your concentration slip for a second or two, it can get a little confusing. This happened to me a couple of times but thankfully it all came together in the end! less
