review 1: suzanne has the awful feeling that someone is watching her - insider her house. but will the police believe her as previously she accused a college professor of having sex and harassing her. he maintained she offered sex in return for high grades meanwhile a body is found of a girl horribly mutilated and other girls go missing a great police force headed by phil who also has personal problems. would like to see them again personally i found the plot to be too convoluted to be believable. also there wee some holes - why did the police bother with who had spare keys to suzanne's flat when the door was heavily bolted why was the dna not traced from where the creeper licked down the front of suzannewhat happened to the dirty knickers in the fridge - read the book and u will fi... morend out why they were there! bev
review 2: This is the 2nd book in this series. The first book The Surrogate was another nail biter but this book freaked me out. Stalkers freak me out in general but when one lives in your house and watches you, drugs you and does creepy things to you when you think you are asleep its worse. I think what gives me the willies is that this kind of stuff does happen. It doesn't jump the shark, it is a sick twisted mind that does this and there are people like that out there. I really enjoyed this book. I love the characters and the creep factor. There were some issues that I wish an editor had caught but they didn't take away the enjoyment of this book. If you are looking for a fast paced nightmarish thriller this is one for you. I may have to sleep with the lights on for a night or two. less
