review 1: This is a reference book and is not meant to be read cover to cover, but I did go through it somewhat in order. I read this on the Kindle and did find it a little confusing. I remember thinking that I had missed some section that would make more sense out of what I was seeing. In general the book made me more interested in cooking and I understand better his philosophy learning new skills. However, I did think that 4-Hour Body was clearer and easier to use as reference. In all fairness I did not try many of the recipes. I just felt like I wanted more reading and knowledge about how to combine flavors for new recipes.
review 2: Love Tim's energy but only got 25% through it before I had to give up, just like the previous book. Some great advice and anesdotes but m
... moreore of a sledgehammer than a book. Perhaps more smaller tomes would work.Go loads from it but it doesn't give the reader a chance to breathe and integrate. On to other tomes now but would still like to have Tim around my dinner table so no offence intended, just some feedback on how I like my books - hypnotically inducing not bashed over my head to induce trance. less
