review 1: I read a number of bad reviews on this book, but decided to read it any ways and I am glad I did. ... moreoddy police district..., listens to the Ramones, Duffy does...; lots of Irish in the language -- and convincingly -- there's even a short glossary at the back... excellent plot... lots of existential angst... McKinty is a reader -- quotes from Burroughs, T.S. But a good start to the series. less
