review 1: Can you expect anymore from an Amy Lane novel other than spectacular? I think not. She as done it again and I was captured yet again into such a lovely world. Hammer and Air was short, sweet, and simple. A classic fairly tale. I enjoyed the simplicity of it. The rustic settings and charming characters. Lane simply as a way with creating grand romances with compatible and believe characters that you can't but help fall in love with. Hammer and Air makes you believe that it doesn't matter whatever happens, whatever fate has given you, it means nothing without your own special Hammer there by your side.
review 2: Strange little story. It took me a bit to get into it, but it was sweet. The author did very well keeping it in the feel of a true fairy tell. This inclu... moredes making the enchanted cottage a great minor character. If you enjoy Amy Lane, this should be no different. If you enjoy fantasy and/or fairy tales, this should also be a good read. And most definitely, it is something you should read if you are looking for something different! less
