review 1: I loved it. Despite the fact that Regan's a bit harsh and annoying, I liked her. Her attitude somewhat understandable because in her teen she got mocked that's why she tried to shake off the feeling. I loved Digby, he's patient, sweet and willing to bent to get to her. One of the thing I love about Angela Verdenius is how she wrote her hero. Perfect. ;) Yeah, I'm that easy to please that's why I loved it.
review 2: For 99 cents, what did I have to lose? This wasn't my favorite book, because I have a really hard time with heroines in romance novels, there has to be a balance between caustic and/or fiesty, and mean spirited and/or clever. This heroine kind of lost me, but that's just my opinion. We have Regan who's a Nurse who is thrown into working with her broth
... moreer's childhood friend Dr.Digby Carlow who just happens to be her first real crush/true love, and who made some not so nice comments about her when they were teenagers, and she's been resentful ever since and when not avoiding him, loves to insult him.Digby is clueless to Regan's distance and disdain for him, and needles her for answers and once he finds out, he sets out to seduce the pants right off Regan, the question is will he succeed?Again for the price, it doesn't hurt to give this book a shot, just because it wasn't my favorite, doesn't mean another won't enjoy the heck out of it. less
