review 1: Despite some of the previous books in the series being a bit less than I had come to expect, this one (11th) is right back on track. This time I found the plotline totally credible and for all I know more than accurate in its possibilities. There were a few wayward moments which have prevented me giving the book a 5 star rating, but I am glad that I have persevered with the series even though it does seem slightly nationalistic at times. For anyone who likes a good conspiracy story try reading this book, and it might confirm some of your thoughts and doubts. Perhaps it is slightly akin to 1984 meeting technology
review 2: After having read books such as 1984 where a completely authoritarian government reigns I often told myself that it was merely an extreme end
... morepoint and that no civilization in its right mind would ever let that happen. In this book Brad Thor basically outlined not only how it very possibly could happen but how we as a society are moving closer and closer to this future than we realize. Inch by inch we are giving up our freedoms for "security" all to often not knowing what that entails nor who is wielding the power that we are so easily giving up. less

Love all of the Scot Harvath series, but really enjoyed seeing the Athena project ladies again.
