review 1: For all that this displays the flaws running through Bendis' X-Men run, it also manages to make him look good. Because in the back is a special celebrating 50 years of the mutant team, containing new stories by some of the writers who've defined them - Stan Lee, Chris Claremon, Fabian Nicieza. And while Bendis may be overly talky and a little erratic when it comes to plot logic, these legendary/notorious figures all turn in work that's merely piss-poor.
