review 1: I am actually torn on rating this book 3 or 4 stars. Parts of it were definitely 4, others were only 3. About 3/4's of the way thru, it seemed to stall as we were yet again reviewing each and every character, of which there were many, along with going over the timeline of events once more. Yawn!! Other times I was intrigued with the plot and couldn't wait to find out what was happening. I love Carolyn Hart's books but found that this one was written in a slightly different style than usual.
review 2: This is a standard mystery novel, with one supernatural element: the previous tenant's cat telepathically tells our heroine that the previous tenant was murdered. She then searches for evidence that will stand up in court. The editing was appalling; the name F... morelynn gets used several times for characters other than Flynn, and the names of sisters also are swapped a few times. This wasn't an awful novel, but it wasn't good either. less
