review 1: Bailey Ruth is a grand motherly woman in a 29 year old body who happens to be a ghost sent from heaven to protect a young man who has found himself in a pickle. After protecting him from a murder attempt, she is sucked into a murder mystery in which she becomes an undercover detective. She is unwillingly partnered with a Debbie Downer of a ghost, creating a frustrating "Odd Couple". Ghost Gone Wild is a light read that is great for all ages from high school to senior citizen (although seniors will probably appreciate it more).
review 2: To quote from the dust jacket, this book is for "readers who prefer their mysteries light and seasoned with wit and the supernatural". While there certainly is a plot and a mystery, I sometimes found them overshadowed by the
... more fanciful. You know everything is going to come out alright in the end because of the otherworldly powers of the charming emissary from Heaven's Department of Good Intentions, Bailey Ruth. less
