review 1: I seem to be a minority here but I didn't like this book. The author wrote scene after scene of the most boring and bland sex scenes ever. Literally this couple spent a month trying to get pregnant and basically 28 of those days our heroine was looking at the ceiling and the hero gave her "his seed" in about thirty seconds. Those thirty seconds were followed by deep conversations about cows and country living... The narration was very good and it's the only reason why I actually finished the book. The last hour or so of the story was very sweet and I liked the ending but I wish I could get those 12 hours of my life back...
review 2: I'll admit it was hard to get into this one, mostly because the heroine is so woefully cold. I couldn't sympathize with her in any
... more way...it says something about Cecilia Grant's writing that she could still make me like the book even though I wanted to hit the heroine over the head far more than was acceptable. The thing is, I've read enough bad characterization to make characters like Martha notable. Even though I can't stand her for most of the book, I can tip my hat to the way she's developed and applaud the fact that her stolid rigidity is at least believable. less

Terrible. 85 pages in and the characters were still boring and nothing was happening.

I like more details in the bedroom. Although it was a very passionate story.
