review 1: I have found a love for Diane's books. She writes incredible stories with plots and twists which I crave from novels. This story was a good one although not my favorite by her. I didn't see the twists in this book as much as her other ones. I didn't foresee the ending that happened and hated the culprit because of their stupidness and selfishness. The characters are well developed as always and I love that. I wish she went more into depth of how laurel suddenly became a good mother again at rehab There was so much written about her depression but nothing about her turnaround. Good enjoyable read but I don't think her best.
review 2: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There was never a dull moment. This is my first book that I have read by Diane Chamberlain, and... more it certainly won't be my last. I really liked how the story was told through different points of view and how there were chapters written in the past. The ending surprised me because I thought I had it figured out. I would recommend this book to anyone that is a fan of Jodi Picoult. less
