review 1: Awww, its over :-(The last book of The Spiderwick Chronicles was fantastic! Filled with adventure, love, and the importance of family, I read the whole thing in a day. I loved all the characters Black and DiTerlizzi created for this series of books and I also loved how The Spiderwick Chronicles and Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles tied in together and brought the two families (the Grace kids and the Vargas kids) together as a team.Thanks Billy for finally kicking my butt into gear in reading this series. Much appreciated!
review 2: A fun finish to a fun series. Like the others, a great book for young readers.This got 3 stars instead of 4 for a couple reasons. I didn't like the big plot jumps and how quickly the final moments were resolved. It seemed a bit more ... morescattered like the first couple Spiderwick books. I love the artwork. However, I wish they would have put pictures in as and/or after the event dipicted occured in the story. I don't like knowing what's going to happen several pages too early. less
