review 1: This was a nice adaption of Wheels on the Bus using animals and their sounds. There is a nice variety of animals, too. We head this at a story time for 2-4 year olds, and the kids knew most of the animals, but needed help with a couple. I really like this author / illustrators painting style and we've read several other books by here, most notably a great version of If You're Happy and You Know It.
review 2: A was mesmerized when she first read this book. However she did not pick the book up immediately from the bunch but her first reading was memorable. Even though I read the book only for 1 or 2 nights (maybe 5-7 times) before it went back to the library, she remembered the flamingos flapping and the zebras chomping for a long time. it was her go to car c... morehant. I still remember her glee when I got the book back from the library a couple months later. less
