review 1: I'm really enjoying this graphic novel series, but this is just getting so weird. I like every chapter in this jumped from one thing to another, creating more questions for the readers without answering any of the previous ones. D: Plus, it's just getting so confusing. Space letters, weird prophets, alien fruit, vampires, and that one sketchy double agent.. uhhh.. I will continue though. I will say however that I LOVED the part with Poyo as the secret weapon just being a badass chicken.
review 2: The strange writing in the sky has sent everyone into a tizzy, and John and Tony now have to investigate cases other than those about illegal chicken, like the disappearance of another agent, revealed to be a voresoph (someone who is brilliant, but only when they're ea
... moreting). There's also a high school food fight/hostage situation (involving yup, another new food thing), which has affected a NASA space station. This ends with Tony and his twin Toni investigating Area 51, and later investigating a strange new religion. This volume ends on a cliffhanger involving Chu's teenage daughter Olive - when did he get a daughter?? I feel like we need some more back story, although Olive may have been mentioned in volume 3 along with the rest of Tony's family. less
