review 1: Sandford ramps up the drama considerably with the 21st entry in the Prey series. A discovery of bodies reopens a case from early in Davenport's career. Much of the book consists of a flashback to this early case, set in the early 1980s. I enjoyed the references to the Minneapolis music scene at that time, Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum even participates in the crime-solving. A great read in a series that had really begun to drag.
