review 1: I was not sure of this from recommendations. But this mad science thriller promptly gripped me and I read it in a plunge. Some of the most really scary bad guys and threats anywhere, embedded in examination of how the shocks of the last 13 years have affected our national psyche. Joe Ledger is an outstanding example of "good isn't nice". And a showdown at Dragoncon ... what more can we ask? One off for persistently confusing anarchism with nihilism.
review 2: This is one of my favorite of the series and I have loved them all. I listened the the audio version and Ray Porter is probably one the absolute best narrators out there.
