review 1: I was very disappointed with this installment of the Cassandra Palmer series. I thought this story was going to be about Cassie trying to save Pritkin from his father, but we spent most of the story on everything but. This book seem to be like the filler song in album. The one you skip past and I found myself skipping past quite a few scenes in this book. But the ending makes me look forward to the next book since Cassie is still not finished saving Pritkin. The one thing that annoys me about Cassie is despite the things she sees and overhears when she still never questions why Mircea has had an interest in her since she was a child. Also, despite the fact that she is now the new Priya she still doesn't know what having that power entails and is not trying to learn. ... moreI'm hoping the next book really spends more time on Cassie trying to save Pritkin and not a whole bunch of filler.
review 2: TEAM PRITKIN......no but seriously I kinda love this series and this book was an example of why I love this series. full of non stop action and just enough sexy time,the cassie palmer series is always on my tbr list. in true cassie fashion she jumps in head first and finds herself right in the middle of it. after the last book I thought this one would be a lot less pritkin but when one can time travel that's never going to be an issue unless the events in this book can be stopped in the next. I was seriously pissed when the council came down with their ruling I almost gave up but in desparate hope I kept reading and I'm glad I did. with a cliffhanger ending you best believe I will be picking up the next installment less
