A autorčiny popisy to vše umocňují. Kdyby nebyl ten konec tak trochu uspěchaný oproti zbytku knihy, dal bych s největší pravděpodobností plný počet hvězd :) Doporučuji.
review 2: Atlanta, Georgia, before segregation, before sexual harassment training, before full integration of women into the police force, and you have the basic elements of this murder mystery. This boo
... morek will give you a new appreciation for women, as police officers, who were the forerunners of today's cops. These women, all with their own reasons for joining up, are determined to do their jobs the best way they know how "to protect and to serve." Written with a combination of a strong spirit and wide-eyed tenderness that engages the reader to genuinely care about these women who have decided on a career in law enforcement, I was pleased to see that this is not the end of the tale. less

This isn't one of her best. Way to much of racism for me. Personally, she could do better.

Slow to start but it evolves into a good story.
