review 1: The re-telling of the Cain and Able and Noah stories are invaluable. The rest is often hard to get through. I read the first two Min Kamp books first so I saw a lot of the island story at the end in this framework although I know it apparently links back to Knausgaard's first novel.Recommended if your a Knausgaard fan, if not just read the re-tellings of the Bible stories, they will make you think about human nature no matter your religious/non-religious beliefs.
