review 1: Los dos últimos episodios sobran (un ensayo y un relato sin finalizar). Las otras historias son maravillosas -nunca fueron publicadas antes y una no deja de preguntarse por los kilos de historias sin asunto que se publican y que no llegan ni a los pies de estos relatos que, supongo, nunca fueron publicados porque no estaban listos- y dan ganas que cada una de ellas se transforme en una novela gruesa que te cuente más y más detalles sobre los personajes.Con respecto a la edición: carátula dura, calidad de página y tamaño de letra que es un agrado, un lindo detalle el pintar las orillas de las hojas -un gesto que me parecía extinguido-, PERO pillé un par de errores ortográficos y, lo más mala onda, una nota de copyright que hace imposible la labor de bibliotecas. ... moreEsto último no deja espacio alguno para tomarle cariño a la editorial Malpaso y no dan ganas de comprarle otro libro :/
review 2: This is a collection of short stories released after Vonnegut's death. Vonnegut is incapable of writing without irony and humor, but though there is humor, these are reasonably serious explorations of human experience. In fact, the first story is worthy of Stephen King with the themes of loss, death and after death experience. This is Good solid, entertainment, well written and full of surprises.The last piece is also particularly interesting. It is included as an epilogue and begins with a note that it is not a finished work. It is a work of science fiction that is masterful. I was hooked and flying through when, as the editor had noted, it just ends. Never the less, the art is so compelling, I am glad to have had the opportunity. Of course it would have been nice to have had the whole work, but Vonnegut never finished it. less
