review 1: This book was such a disappointment. First off it was only 200 pages. So many typos and such a short unbelievable plot. I just dont understand how K'wan could keep us waiting for so long and give us this crap. I don't think I will be reading the other one. I am BEYOOOOOOOOND disappointed that I bought this book. I also hated how he spent so much time explaining the characters (like someone is reading the book who didnt read the previous ones). It made me so angry considering the book was so short as it is, to be wasting valuable time explaining scenarios we already knew about. I am just so disappointed, and must say this is one of his worst books ever.I DO NOT RECOMMENND THIS. I doubt if I will read the next one because I am so done.
review 2: This third instal... morelment of the "Animal" series was pretty disappointing. I have found that K'Wan usually stands above other urban fiction writers both in plot lines and content. This one seemed to be phoned in, and then skipped the editing process. Nearly every other page had a spelling or punctuation error and it got very distracting. The plot itself was disjointed and honestly didn't feel like it was about the Animal that I have grown to known and love. Based on the ending there will definitely be another book in the series and I'm hoping it starts off that this outing was just a bad dream. less
