review 1: Seth is an Tattoo artist and an atheist. Darren is new to town and a Youth Minister. When Darren moves into the apartment next door to Seth it is instant chemistry and sparks fly. The sex is hot, but the next morning awkwardness drives Seth back across the hall to his apartment. These two have a hard time keeping there hands off each other, but past fears have Seth pulling back and trying to keep Darren in the friends zone. Can Seth face his fears and his feelings for Darren?I loved these guys. They had great chemistry. The sex was hot. I loved that even though their beliefs were at opposite ends of the spectrum, they still had so much in common. I just wish the book had been a little longer, and had an epilogue.
review 2: Hmmm..not quite sure how to review "Co... morevet Thy Neighbor."Seth, a tattoo artist, feels an instant attraction to his new neighbor, Darren. When it turns out Darren feels it too, the guys have a hot 'welcome to the neighborhood' encounter. But Darren has revealed that he's a minister, and Seth's an atheist and wonders if he could ever accept Darren's faith and beliefs. Turns out Seth's family, deeply conservative fundamentalists, wouldn't tolerate him after he came out, and forced him to leave.I had a hard time dealing with Seth's nonsense. Sure, he's happy to have hot sex with Darren, but he's not willing to put aside his anger and frustration with his family and with religion to really get to know Darren. And Darren calls him on it, "How is what you're saying to me any different from what everyone has done to you? Because of a vital part of who I am, a part of me I have never once tried to force on you,...you can't be around me?" Yay Darren!So...Seth's rather a jerk, and while he eventually apologizes to Darren and they get their HFN, I never came to like him much...waaay to much drama.But...I did learn interesting stuff about what happens when you get a tattoo! less
